Being a huge Halloween fan I was excited to learn there were novelizations of the first 3 films. There were so many differences and scene variations with the novel versus the film. Loved hearing Loomis talk to his wife on the pay phone on the way to Haddonfield and mention their teenage son. Enjoyed the prologue about Celtic ritual and sacrifice. The fact that Michael Myers had a family history of hearing voices that made them commit horrible acts of violence.Kinda takes away from the mystery of the film killer having no motivation but not enough to ruin it. Laurie throwing Sheriff Brackett after she scares her after school, loved it! Highly recommend reading this to any Halloween fan.
